Other Steel Powders for 3D Printing
The EOS Steels range offers versatile, high-performance powders for 3D printing, including EOS CasehardeningSteel 20MnCr5 - ideal for tough, wear-resistant parts - and EOS 42CrMo4, known for its strength and durability in demanding engineering applications.
Both materials were designed and tested for use with EOS metal systems and are shipped with a material test certificate (according to EN 10204, Type 3.1) showing the results of the QA testing regarding the chemical composition and powder properties.
EOS also offers various processes for these materials each with the optimal combination of parameters (e.g. laser power, layer thickness, etc.) at different build speeds.
