The new EOS location in the South of Shanghai shows the newest technology and innovation projects for our customers. The investment is part of a long-term commitment to help our key innovators in China to push boundaries and develop new solutions to increase their gain.
EOS opens new office and technology center in Shanghai
Our investment in Shanghai is part of a long-term commitment to support our growing customer base in China. Together with our partners in pre-and post-processing and the latest and best of EOS, we will help our key innovators in China to push boundaries and develop completely new solutions to increase their gain.
In 2013, EOS Electro Optical Systems Co., Ltd opened our first office and technology center in Shanghai. At the beginning of 2021, the Chinese team expanded into their new modern building. The new EOS location, South of Shanghai, shows the newest technology and innovation projects for customers.
The new premises is comprised of a 800 m² office and 750 m² machining space including a new laboratory and two rooms for post-processing. There are several meeting rooms and a large multi-purpose lobby for events. The installed base will comprise all major EOS metal and polymer systems.
However, the investment is not only in infrastructure. We also strengthen the team: Our Additive Minds team will drive innovation and reliability, and the Service team is set-up to support the industrialization of 3D printed solutions. Together with our partners, we can support customers from their idea to the finished product. EOS China is ready to push 3D printing to an industrial scale.
